The concert scene is truly unmatched in our area — from T-Mobile Center to The Truman, there’s a stage for any type of tune. To get to know them all, you must do three things.

Put your hands in the air, wave ‘em like you just don’t care, then lay your eyes (and ears) on our guide.

Arrowhead Stadium | 1 Arrowhead Dr., KCMO
Capacity: 76,416
The home of the Kansas City Chiefs, but also a pit stop for many iconic worldwide stars.

Kauffman Stadium | 1 Royal Way, KCMO
Capacity: 37,903
Stay tuned for the 2024 schedule for “Concerts at the K.”

Cable Dahmer Arena | 19100 E. Valley View Pkwy., Independence, MO
Capacity: 5,800
This arena hosts big artists like The 1975 and NEEDTOBREATHE — but it’s also home to the KC Mavericks and KC Comets.

Concert halls

Uptown Theater | 3700 Broadway Blvd., KCMO
Capacity: 2,400
This historic venue’s first sold-out performance took place in 1928 — well before the orchestra section became standing room only.

The Truman | 601 E. Truman Rd., KCMO
Capacity: 1,200
The Truman is one of KC’s newer concert venues, opening its doors for concerts + events in September 2017.

The Midland | 1228 Main St., KCMO
Capacity: 1,300-3,000
The original theater opened in 1927. Now, almost 100 years later, it still services Kansas Citians for concerts + events.

This iconic performing arts center hosts everything from symphony orchestra concerts to the Kansas City Ballet.

Folly Theater | 300 W. 12th St., KCMO

This iconic spot is Kansas City’s oldest historic performance venue.

This outdoor venue is the place to be for Broadway shows + big ticket concerts.
