When it comes to Kansas City’s shopping scene, we love a good treasure hunt — and a good bargain. Our city is home to several stellar swap meets, cool co-ops, fabulous vintage shops, and resale gems. So get in, we’re going shopping.

Swap Meets

Boulevard Drive-In Swap ‘n’ Shop, 1051 Merriam Ln, Kansas City, KS
Pull up to the drive-in every Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. to shop local. Make sure you bring your own snacks as the concession stand will be closed.

Nate’s Swap Shop, 8200 E. 63rd St., Kansas, City, MO
This enormous outdoor flea market takes place every Saturday and Sunday at 4pm, just minutes from downtown. It features vendors selling both new and used merchandise – and there’s food, too. Pro Tip: Cash is preferred so stop at the ATM before you go.

Rusty Metals Automotive Swap Meets, The Twin Drive-In, 1320 NE 291 Hwy, Independence, MO
Looking for new parts for your car? Stara there. This seasonal meet up is where Kansas Citians gather to swap parts for classic cars, hot rod, muscle cars, and trucks.

Co-Op markets

KC Night Market, Crossroads Hotel, 2101 Central St., Kansas City, MO
Enjoy this monthly market that happens, you guessed it, at night. A rotating list of local vendors gather at the Crossroads Hotel to sell everything from books to clothes. Follow its instagram to stay up-to-date on market dates + times.

The Strawberry Swing

The Strawberry Swing collective popped up during Cornocopia.

This local craft fair channels the handmade movement. It’s a network of markets and pop-ups for local makers.

Vintage shops

Brass Armadillo Antique Mall, 1450 Golfview Dr., Grain Valley, MO
Peruse 500+ dealers in this 42,000-sqft showroom. You’ll find everything from antique clocks to sports memorabilia. The mall is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

KC Vintage Flea Market, Parlor, 1701 Locust St., Kansas City, MO
Find retro clothing, accessories, mid-century furniture, and various collectibles at Parlor’s monthly flea market. The market is hosted every third Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Right in the center of downtown KC you can fulfill your antiquing dreams. First opened in 1994, this 30,000-sqft store is home to 160+ dealers.
