- Oh snap — this is the Chiefs’ fourth trip to the Super Bowl in the last five years.
- The Chiefs last won the Super Bowl in 2023 against the Philadelphia Eagles, with a 38-35 finish.
- Deja vu? 2020 marked Patrick Mahomes’ his second year starting. He took the Chiefs to the Super Bowl and faced off against the 49ers, bringing home the Lombardi trophy with a 31-20 score.
