Get your neighborhood in gear — Kansas City runs leaf + brush collections each in spring and fall, following your regular trash day. See the upcoming dates.

How to prep your piles:

  • Use only paper lawn‑debris sacks, max 40 lbs each, sealed with masking tape
  • Bundle branches (no more than 4 ft long or 2 ft in diameter), tied with twine or jute
  • Place sacks + bundles at the curb by 7 a.m. on your trash day
  • Limit: 20 sacks + bundles per household

Questions or missed collection? Just call 311 the next business day.
