Some people make to-do lists — we make to-dine lists. To satisfy those who are really hungry for fresh dining options, we’ve got details on several KC restaurants coming soon. Grab your forks as we dig right in.

Chicken Salad Chick, multiple locations | Drive-thru
It’s exactly what it sounds like: a heaven made of chicken salad and southern-style desserts. Five are set to open around the metro, with the first coming in 2025.

Le Champion, Westport | Champagne bar
We’ve all been waiting patiently for what’s next after Ça Va closed in March. Come this holiday season, Le Champion will open as a coffee bar by day, moody charcuterie + cocktail bar by night.

Swig, multiple locations | Soda fountain
The “dirty soda” chain popularized on reality TV show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is making its way to KC with six new shops, all expected to open next year.
