👄 Biggest conversation starters

New ramen bar in Overland Park | 28,000+ interactions | The new Jinya Ramen Bar was met with open arms and drooling mouths. The food in this reel looked delicious and you all couldn’t stop talking about it.

Seven Swans Crêperie | 20,000+ interactions | This stunning space was the talk of the ‘gram. Draped plants and wallpapered walls give that French country aesthetic — which pairs perfectly with crêpes.
City Editor Charmaine: I loved sharing Vine Street Brewing Co.'s ribbon cutting ceremony. The heartfelt speech + the historic occasion was heartwarming.

City Editor Bella: My favorite moment was covering the Chiefs Super Bowl LVII win in reel (get it?) time.

🚌 How should we travel to and from KCI?

Should Kansas City add more public transit routes servicing KCI?

Kansas City International Aiport (KCI) is seeing lots of foot traffic. According to city officials, all those feet need more support getting around.

To address this, the City of KCMO wants to add a rapid rail, connecting KCI to downtown. But this isn’t the only solution in the works.

Mid-America Regional Council and Kansas City Area Transportation Authority seek to solve the transportation concern with the Public Transit Services Action Plan.

The two organizations want your feedback on this plan’s three key features:
If you want to give your thoughts, view this interactive map of the proposed plan. Then, click the “Add Comment” and “Take Survey” buttons. Leave your two cents by Friday, Sept. 22.

From the editor
Finally, the weekend is here. I’ve been waiting all week to go to the movies. I would have gone sooner but I learned that National Cinema Day is this Sunday, Aug. 27. Lots of theaters are offering discounted tickets and special combo deals in celebration.

Since I have a long list of movies I need to see, I needed to wait so I could save a little money, ya know?
