Attention, Kansas City: You won’t want to miss this show.

On Friday, Feb. 24, Ukrainian folk-punk band DakhaBrakha will bring their moving, incredibly unique music to the Midwest Trust Center’s Polsky Theatre. Originally created by avant-garde theater director Vladyslav Troitskyi at the Kyiv Center of Contemporary Art in 2004, the group explores Ukrainian sound and soul with Indian, Arabic, African + Australian influences.

And thanks to DakhaBrakha’s theater roots, they put on a great show — check out their KEXP performance. Tickets start at $25.*
