GMA3 and Tech N9ne give $5.25 million in scholarships to metro seniors

To round out American Education Week, Good Morning America affiliate GMA3 made a life-changing announcement for KC students with the help of Tech N9ne.

Over 100 scholarship applicants through KC Scholars, a program by Great Jobs KC to support low-income and first-generation high schoolers in the metro, received $50,000 apiece at a recording of GMA3 at Union Station.

The announcement featured KC celebrities Eric Stonestreet and Tech N9ne, who announced the $5.25 million giveaway following a performance.
