Hey smooth operators, 816 culture calling...don’t miss out on Kansas City’s own official holiday. Celebrated on Aug. 16, 816 Day pays homage to the city’s area code — featuring live entertainment, branded events, and special deals — all geared toward community pride.

Scavenger Hunt Bingo

Get in the spirit before the big day with its newest tradition: scavenger hunt bingo. Print off your sheet and earn stickers as you explore every corner of the downtown loop + KC Streetcar route. Score a bingo, blackout, or round robin? Prizes will be raffled off following the celebration’s end on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Then hop on the KC Streetcar and ride your way to City Market for Art in Loop’s performance showcase — featuring Myself Embodied, True Lions, and Jass — from 6 to 8 p.m.
