For female athletes, getting unique and specialized care makes a big difference.

However, a disparity still exists when it comes to treating their injuries and improving performance. Enter: The University of Kansas Health System’s female athlete program, which considers the anatomical, biomechanical, hormonal, nutritional, physiological, and psychological factors that can uniquely affect female athletes.
