And before you know it, it’s that time of year again. We’re talking about KC Restaurant Week, a 10-day dining event in which your favorite local restaurants will offer prix fixe, multicourse menus.

Restaurant Week is Friday, Jan. 13-Sunday, Jan. 22. Right now, you can make reservations at any participating restaurant through the KCRW website, or on the event’s free mobile app (on the Apple and Google Play stores).

Heads up. Prices have risen in this year’s lineup (like everything else), now with lunches and dinners listed at $20, $40, $50, and $55 — depending on the restaurant.

As in years past, dining during Restaurant Week benefits more than just local eateries. For every meal, 10% of the proceeds will go to Cornerstones of Care, the Visit KC Foundation, and the GKCRA Education Foundation.

The best week in local dining is right around the corner. You don’t want to miss it.
