We’ve had the vote, we’ve seen new renderings, and now, — with Arrowhead’s future up in the air — we’ve got a date: Thursday, Sept. 5.

The NFL season opener will welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Arrowhead — rehashing the 2024 AFC Championship that sent KC to its fourth Super Bowl win. (Ah, memories...)

The rest of the NFL schedule will be released tomorrow, with individual game tickets going on sale at 11 a.m. this Thursday, May 16.

That means it’s only 114 days (aka 2,736 hours, aka 164,160 minutes) until football season begins, Kansas City. But who’s counting anyway?
