Are your jack-o-lanterns looking a little deflated too? That’s okay, all good things must come to an end.
Saying proper goodbyes to your carved masterpieces includes giving them a proper disposal. Here’s a list of places you can lay the pumpkins to rest.

- Olathe, KS | Residents can put pumpkins in their green yard waste cart and place on the curb for collection by 8 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
- Lenexa, KS | Drop off pumpkins for composting through Wed., Nov. 30 in the marked dumpster at the Little Mill Creek North Park parking lot.
- Shawnee, KS | Stop by the Food Cycle KC Pumpkin Dropoff at Shawnee City Hall (11110 Johnson Dr.) on Sat., Nov. 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fee of $3 per vehicle.
