City Editors Bella and Travis checked out four of the eight new cocktails at Westport Cafe — located at 419 Westport Rd. Not only were our taste buds quite satisfied, we also walked away with some knowledge about the cafe itself.
The drinks
- Our first sip was the Suze Valley Blast, a bright green cocktail that combines two French aperitifs.
- Next was the Satisfied Mind — which features apple cider + poached pear. Talk about a perfect autumn beverage.
- Our third drink was the Yellow Datsun, a rum tiki cocktail with egg white and a fall flavor that shocked our whole table.
- We topped off the evening with their citrus-flavored take on an espresso martini — the Mr. Moonlight.
