Recycling at home
KCMO:
- This spring + summer, each residential home will receive a new, free recycling cart delivered to their home.

- All KCK residents from single-family homes up to four-plex units qualify for curbside recycling .

Local sustainability efforts
KCMO:
- Green infrastructure helps the community manage storm water by capturing + utilizing rainwater where it falls.
- Get involved with the KC Parks Ambassador Program .

- Adopt-A-Spot to help keep the community litter-free.
- The Unified Government SOAR Program, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office and 13 other departments, is working to put a LID (get it?) on Litter & Illegal Dumping .
- Join the Environmental Sustainability & Green Energy Task Force and help assess environmental justice across the county.
