Answered: What’s your favorite local whiskey? We don’t have time to get into the types, but here’s what gives our readers high spirits.

🥃 “Union Horse has some nice ryes. They also had a rye finished in a port barrel [...] If you want to check out a fun tour, go to Tom’s Town Distilling Co. It has a fun speakeasy vibe, the spirits are great and cocktails even better before and/or after the tour. [...] If you find yourself down at Prairie Fire in OP and want amazing food and a vast whiskey selection, check out Veritas.” — Alli D.

🥃 “My personal favorite is Union Horse. But Rieger and Restless Spirits are right up there as well. Tom’s Town is a honorable mention too.” — Matt N.

🥃 “We have 2 favorites here: Tom’s Town Gold and Ben Holladay.” — Janalee D.

Pro tips: Pour over the vast collection at The Whiskey Snug in Weston, and join this Facebook group of locals seeking inside scoops and unicorns.
