We asked you, our lovely readers, to tell us your favorite local florist ahead of Valentine’s Day. Kansas City, MO

Alissa’s in Independence. Eilene is the 2nd generation owner and floral designer following in the footsteps of her mom, Alissa. The quality and creativity have always been next level. Alissa’s partners with local businesses to support each other, like Bolero Salon, restaurants, and retailers. They donate so much to local nonprofits, like the Truman Heartland Community Foundation and Independence Chamber of Commerce.” — Eileen W.
