Table of Contents

The Kansas City Public Library serves our community through 10 branches + a mobile service. At the low price of free, a library card can get you a lot more than you think.

Digital Branch

Can’t make it to a physical location? No worries. The Digital Branch offers a vast collection of materials — from audio books to online learning resources — available for download or streaming.

Events + Activities

Here at KCtoday, we love a fun thing-to-do. You know this. So does the KCPL, with free events for all ages and interests. Channel your zen with the Fall Yoga Series, or play tabletop games like Chess and Uno — the opportunities are endless.

Resources + Research

Whether you are a current student or a forever history buff, the library offers an array of resources right in the palm of your hand. Find targeted, local information in community reference, or learn more about the Pendergast years.
