Work on Starlight Theatre’s $40 million renovation has been paused due to rising costs. While the project was originally slated for completion by April 2026, the second phase of construction is on hiatus, with plans to resume in the fall of 2026.

Guess who’s back, back again? Dillons grocery store brand plans to return to the KC metro, with the announcement coming 17 years after its last metro location closed. A Dillons Marketplace is set to open in the City of Olathe first as part of a broader regional expansion plan. (KCTV)
