After 30 years in business, Overland Park’s Price Chopper will close its doors on Tuesday, Aug. 19. The announcement marks the second for a local grocery store closure in recent weeks — The Merc Co+op will also close its location at 501 Minnesota Ave. (TheKansas City Star)
