Harvesters | This metro food service aids 387,000 people in its 26-county service area by providing meals. It offers in-person volunteer opportunities or at-home programs.
Nourish KC | Ensure your community has access to fresh food through the free/low-cost meal program, Daily Pantry, or food redistribution network.
Shelter KC | Help people experiencing homelessness by sorting donations, providing administrative support, or serving meals to guests.
For the animal lovers
Pet Resource Center of Kansas City | Help prevent pet homelessness and improve animal quality of life. Opportunities include training, food distribution, and medical assistance that will introduce you to vet tech skills.
The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City | Keep the shelter’s cats and dogs happy by offering to walk + socialize the animals, or help around the facility with administrative projects.
