Belton Farmers’ Market | Thursdays, May through Sept. | 4-7 p.m. | 613 E. North Ave.

  • Features: See everything from seasonal produce and handmade goods to delicious treats like fresh kettle corn.

Bonner Springs Farmers’ Market | Saturdays, May 3-Oct. 18 | 8 a.m.-12 p.m. | Centennial Park, 206 E. Cedar St.

  • Features: For a $20 annual fee, you can become a Friend of the Market and receive a tote bag or license plate, as well as a voting seat at the Annual Market meeting.
  • Parking: Explore free + paid options downtown.

Brookside Farmers’ Market | Saturdays, year-round | 9 a.m.-12 p.m. | HJ’s Community Center, 6425 Wornall Rd.

  • Features: If they’re selling it, they grew it — this market doesn’t allow middle men, meaning you get to shake hands with the sustainable farmers and ranchers behind your favorite foods.
  • Parking: Free parking can be found surrounding the HJ’s Youth & Community Center.

City Market Farmers’ Market | Saturdays + Sundays, year-round | 8 a.m.-3 p.m. | 20 E. 5th St.

Note: From Jan. through Feb., the farmers market is only open on Saturday. From Nov. to March, the market opens at 9 a.m.

Green Street Market | Wednesdays + Saturdays, April-Oct. | 8 a.m.-12 p.m. | 209 SE Green St., Lee’s Summit

  • Features: Big changes have arrived at this city center, including an all new indoor market and streetscaped pavilion.

  • Features: This center supports children in foster care through a variety of life skill-teaching programs, including by tending to a 4-acre garden, caring for small livestock, and operating this seasonal market.

Ivanhoe Farmers Market | 2nd Saturdays, May-Oct. | 9 a.m.-1 p.m. | 3700 Woodland Ave.

  • Features: This neighborhood market runs on community pride and is one of the many stops on Cultivate KC’s KC Farmer’s Market Passport where you can earn prizes like 10% off at Ruby Jean’s Juicery.
