Welcome to the 2023 NFL Draft Week. Buckle in, because this week is filled with football fun for everyone.

We’ll share more about what you will see at the actual NFL Draft (Union Station and the WWI Memorial grounds) later, but for now we’re focusing on events you can check out all across the metro all week long.

KC Draft Fest | City Barrel Brewery + Kitchen, 1740 Holmes St., KCMO | Friday, April 28 | 1-6 p.m. | $12.50-$25 | Enjoy local brews + live music before heading to the Draft.

Announced

Fresh Fridays are returning to the City Market starting May 5. This summertime series has something for everyone — featuring food, drinks, and live music. Hours are 5-10 p.m. and the monthly event will run through Sept. 1.

Arts

KC Parks and Recreation is bringing back Make Music Day for its third year on Wednesday, June 21. The event features local musicians of all experience levels to come together to make celebrate music in KC. Register to be a performer or host venue here.

Parking and transit tips for the 2023 NFL Draft

As you have probably noticed by now, the NFL Draft is right around the corner. We know that getting around town might be a little difficult this week, so here’s everything you need to know about local transit for the jam-packed weekend.

Parking

Find a map of parking options here.
Purchase advanced parking registration here.
Parking along the KC Streetcar line is allowed, but vehicles must park within the painted white lines.

Getting around

Rideshare dropoffs can be utilized by entering “National WWI Museum and Memorial” as your destination. Pickups can be made from Entry 1 or Entry 3.
Download the RideKC Bike app ahead of time to access e-bikes.
Hop on the KC Streetcar to the Crossroads for a ~15 minute walk to the Draft grounds.

Road closures

Many road closures will last through Sunday, May 7. Find a full list of road closures here to plan accordingly.
