The Missouri State Fair started in 1901 with the mission to help visitors understand + appreciate agriculture’s role in the state and keep agriculture one of Missouri’s top industries. Throughout the years, the fair’s competitions have played a vital role, with ribbons, money, and recognition for the best in class. 🥇

We’re wheely excited for this big event, so we want to prep you with everything you need to know before you go. Ride with us. 🎡

Hours, tickets, parking

  • The fair will be open daily from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
  • Tickets + parking passes are available in person and online. Admission costs $3-$12.
  • Parking is available on and off site, with free general public parking and $5 per day VIP parking.
  • Pro tip: The Fair offers a different theme each day with specials for select groups (think: Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Farm Family Day, Senior Appreciation Day, etc.), so check out the daily deal schedule and plan your trip for a day when you can save some money.

The concerts

Some big names are headlining at the State Fair Grandstand.

Pro tip: Grandstand tickets do not include fair admission.

Of course, no fair is complete without rides + games, and the Missouri State Fair will have plenty of those, too. Check out this year’s attractions, all the events for the whole Family, and get your Carnival tickets to make the most out of your visit. Whatever you do, give yourself plenty of time to explore it all — and wear comfy shoes. 🎠
