As part of 913 Day yesterday (Sept. 13, 2022), the Kansas City Current opened up deposits for membership at their new riverfront stadium — planned for 2024.
The release followed recent renderings of the stadium, which is the first in the country to be built solely for a National Women’s Soccer League team. Images show how the structure might look from Berkley Parkway as well as within the stadium.
Leaders of the soccer club claim that demand may outpace the new stadium’s capacity — 11,500 seats. A membership deposit ensures “access to all preseason, regular season, and NWSL Challenge Cup matches played by KC Current at the new stadium,” according to the club’s website.
Deposits start at $25 for standing room areas and range up to $500 for suite seating. Each deposit can represent up to eight seats. Deposits are fully refundable and will be applied directly to your membership after selecting your seating location(s).
