Summer is out (almost), and football is in. As we trade in our 6-pack abs for a 6 pack of beers and burnt end sandwiches, let’s take a look at this season and our favorite places to watch each game. 🏈
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Cleveland Browns for the first Arrowhead seasonal home opener on Sun., Sept. 12. Show me the replay. The Chiefs last faced the Browns on Jan. 17 in the playoff divisional round. KC won, 22-17.
🏈 Chiefs 2021 season fun facts
- QB1 Patrick Mahomes ranked as the No. 1 NFL player by his peers across the league. That’s after 2 years ranked No. 4. (FOX4)
- According to Finance Buzz, Chiefs fans spend an average of $36.02 on in-stadium alcohol while at Arrowhead — the 9th lowest amount spent across all NFL team fan bases. Cheers to pregame tailgates.
- The Chiefs are tied with the Seattle Seahawks for the 11th most difficult schedule this season. The Steelers have the toughest season, according to the CBS Sports schedule rankings.
- Meanwhile, the Buccaneers — who beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV — have the 4th easiest schedule this year.
- Rivalry, anyone? The top Kansas City rival is anyone’s ball. Some would say the Denver Broncos, harkening back to the John Elway vs. Joe Montana days. The Chiefs lead the all-time series against the Broncos, 65-55, according to ClutchPoint.
- However, the Raiders have actually caused more pain for KC. Las Vegas leads the all-time series against the Chiefs, 65-54-2.
