There’s no smoking in the cabin, but it’s a different story on the ground at KCI.

Concourse B’s Made for KC BBQ Experience welcomed its newest champions: Oak Grove’s O.G. Bandits, the winners of the second annual Made for Kansas City BBQ Championship.

The professional pit bosses have waited since last June to enjoy the winning perks, which include a $25,000 grand prize + one-year licensing opportunity in the airport’s 8,000-sqft competition barbecue-themed restaurant. Last year’s inaugural winner, Smoke ‘n Magic, passed the torch after opening alongside the new terminal in 2023.

Jet-setting for spring break soon? You can stop by the new space featuring favorites from O.G. Bandits’ classic menu from now until next spring.
