Pride Month, dedicated to celebrating and commemorating the LGBTQ+ community every June, is right around the corner. Check out these different ways to get involved in Pride Month in KC.

Parades + celebrations

OUT with the Current TailGAYte , Children’s Mercy Park | Saturday, June 3 | 5-7 p.m. | $10-$20 | Pregame the KC Current Pride Night match at this tailgate event.

KC Pride Fest , Frank A. Theis Park | Friday, June 9-Sunday, June 11 | Times vary | $5 per day | This weekend long celebration includes live music, family-friendly activities, and a parade.

Royals Pride Night , Kauffman Stadium | Friday, June 16 | 7:10 p.m. | $25+ | Purchase a theme night ticket to receive an exclusive KC Pride flag upon entry.

Pride Haven Pickleball , Chicken N Pickle, 1761 Burlington St., North Kansas City, MO | Saturday, June 17 | 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | $75 per player | Play pickleball to raise money for Pride Haven, an emergency overnight shelter for LGBTQ+ youth that are experiencing homelessness.

LGBTQ+ Film Festival , West Wyandotte Library, 1737 N. 82nd St., KCK | Saturday, June 17 | 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. | Free | Watch screenings of “Moonlight,” “But I’m a Cheerleader,” and “The Birdcage” while enjoying snacks and refreshments.

Pride Bar Crawl , multiple locations | Saturday, June 17 | 4 p.m. | $15-$20 | Get complimentary drinks and free cover to the drag show while on this Pride-filled bar crawl.

Fountaint City Music Hall: Tribute to Queer Artists , Missie B’s, 805 W. 39th St., KCMO | Saturday, June 17 | 7-9 p.m. | $10 | Watch live singers perform your favorite songs from LGBTQ+ artists.

Pride On Vine 2023 , 18th and Vine District | Saturday, June 24-Sunday, June 25 | Hours vary | $25-$50 | Experience live music, food vendors, drag shows, and a parade finale.
