Q: Describe your perfect day in Kansas City in the length of a Tweet (280 characters).

A: I enjoy freshly brewed tea before playing tennis at Roanoke Park. Next, I barge into Prospero’s Books to fuel my book hoarding habit. Then, it’s retro gaming at Up-Down. Afterwards, my husband and I picnic at a park while the KC Symphony plays from their mobile music box.

Q: You’re ordering a drink from Kansas City-coffee shop/bar: What’s in it?

A: I’m most likely at Cafe Cà Phê ordering a Refresh T’Death tea. It’s a chamomile tea + lemonade mixture livened with hibiscus, mango, apple, and lychee syrup.

Q: What were the last 3 things you did downtown?

A: I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3 at the B&B movie theatre, went to Santuary KC’s cornhole tournament on the rooftop of the WeWork building, and I co-worked with a friend at Waterbird Coffee Company.

Q: Describe your perfect day in Kansas City in the length of a Tweet (280 characters).

A: I’d start my day with brunch at Westport Cafe before heading to Arizona Trading Company for a bit of retail therapy. After that, I would head over to the Crossroads for a brewery hop before enjoying live music at Grinders.

Q: You’re ordering a drink from Kansas City-coffee shop/bar: What’s in it?

A: There’s a good chance if I am ordering a drink, it’s a beer. My favorite right now (it changes a lot) is the Chaos Monkey at Casual Animal Brewing Company.

Q: Describe Kansas City’s personality in three words.

A: Lively, united, home.

Now that we’re all BFFs, feel free to send us a message to share news, events + more with us (or just say hello).
