Missouri River Murals will help beautify the cement structures along the trail between the Town of Kansas Bridge and Berkley Riverfront Park featuring works of local and inspirational art. For the next three years, various phases will emerge — each showcasing a different message.

The artist lineup includes: Adrianne Clayton, Cheyenne Banda, Emily Alverez, Emily Ding, Felicia Koloc, Jasmine Ali, and Katie Lee. Port KC asked each of the artists to focus on a message to empower and encourage women — those expectations were exceeded.

This years’ murals will be under the Town of Kansas Bridge and on storage containers at the east and west sides of Berkley Riverfront Park. Finished products will be wrapping up around Sunday, Sept. 17.
