52 companies in KC + the surrounding area rank among the fastest-growing private companies in the nation, according to the 2021 Inc. 5000 list.👏

Inc.com determined rankings for 5,000 companies in the US according to the percent of revenue growth over 3 years. The metro is home to 52 companies that made the list this year.

Of these 52 companies, 27 were located on the Missouri side with a median growth of 135%, total revenue of $1 billion, 2,220 jobs added, and 15 repeat honorees. The 25 companies in Kansas show a median growth of 203%, total revenue of $898.8 million, 1,641 jobs added, and 12 repeat honorees.
