Comedy fans can buy festival passes or individual show tickets. | Courtesy of Fountain City Comedy Fest
The annual Fountain City Comedy Fest is now underway. With more than 20 shows and 50 comedians, there’s plenty to choose from over the next few days, including big acts like Eddie Pepitone, Jim Carrey lookalike Heather Shaw, and Chloe Radcliffe.

My first pick would be Jay Jurden, who I’ve been itching to see since my wife and her friends caught his set a few years ago. Tickets for his Saturday, Oct. 25 show at recordBar are still available for around $28 a pop, and will be the last laugh of the festival.

Post of the Day

Aaron Branch Comedian KC 10.23.25
KC’s own Aaron Branch kicked off the Fountain City Comedy Fest last night, a moment that clearly meant a lot to him.

“The Jazz District has always been a huge part of Kansas City’s culture and of who I am,” he wrote on Instagram. “From school field trips, to my first internship, my first audition, and late nights at the Mutual Musicians Foundation. To return home and headline the Gem Theater is a full-circle moment, and I’m incredibly grateful to FCCF for making it happen.”

Now we’re in our feels. Scroll up for more info on the festival, or scroll down for more opportunities to cut up.
