Reduce. Reuse. Reswing.
Where the modern game has given way to sweat-wicking polos and understated patterns, this vintage brand is embracing what it calls the “Caddyshack” aesthetic.
“Everyone has that heritage, old style look, but they’re all kind of a rebellious group [...] Giving golf a little bit more of an edge is really what we’re going for,” Max Ledom, the brand’s founder, said.
After a childhood of cheering on golf icons like Tom Watson, Tiger Woods, and Vijay Singh, the sport Ledom so loved to watch with his dad became nothing more than a game to play with friends.
That is, until a few years ago, when the lifelong Kansas Citian and longtime apparel designer (you may even own his most popular style) happened upon a heap of stylish vintage sportswear as an eBay reseller. Between estate sales full of oiled leather, time-worn crewnecks, and rich mossy greens — an idea was born.

Local job boards are a total game-changer — for both job seekers and businesses. Instead of sifting through endless listings, they focus on quality over quantity, connecting employers with candidates who actually want to work in the area. That means fewer relocation headaches and better retention.
For big and small businesses, it’s a smart way to connect with candidates who understand the local community and culture. Plus, hiring locally usually means a faster, smoother hiring process. Whether you’re looking for a job or trying to fill one, KCtoday Job Board keeps things simple, practical, and close to home.

Here at KCtoday, you may already know we’re big on celebrating local, especially our city’s small businesses. Which is why a week dedicated to highlighting the heart of our communities is right up our alley.
Enter: Small Business Week — a national initiative that acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of small businesses — that we’ll be celebrating from Sunday, May 4 to Saturday, May 10.
We want to join in on the celebrations by highlighting some of the best small businesses in our city.
This is where we need your help.
If you own a local small business or know someone who does, celebrate Small Business Week with us by filling out a form about your business. We’ll be selecting businesses to feature in our newsletter throughout the week.
Your two new best friends to speed up blow drys: a really good hairbrush and Kenra Platinum’s time-saving blow dry spray. The Wet Brush hairbrush features a vented design for faster airflow plus heat-resistant bristles, while the 4.7-star rated Kenra spray detangles, smooths, and decreases blow-dry time by 50%.
Whether you share the newsletter with friends or donate to this year’s campaign, I can’t thank you enough for uplifting local journalism in Kansas City. Your contributions mean more restaurant reviews, more festivals, more breaking news... and maybe even more Da Bomb taste tests at Spicin Foods.
