Hops for joy. Award-winning brewery KC Bier Co. is expanding big-time with a second location in the ‘burbs, bringing its German bier to Lenexa’s Vista Village at 98th and Ridgeview by 2026.

The new digs are set to become one of the “largest and most authentic Bavarian-style Biergartens in the US,” according to the local biz — something we don’t doubt after seeing its 29,200-sqft layout, featuring:
  • Two-story Bierhalle, with showcase brewery + event space mezzanine
  • Outdoor covered patio
  • Open-air Biergarten, children’s play area, off-leash dog zone + amphitheater

Cheers to raising the bar.

Answered

Kansas City’s streetcars were first controlled/pulled by?

Maybe all this Midwestern small talk about road conditions isn’t for nothing — almost half of respondents (48%) already knew that horses + mules powered KC’s earliest form of public transportation. Now giddy up, you’ve earned that high horse.
