Waldo Pizza is passing the pieto new owners. Kansas City-based restaurant group, W. VinZant Restaurants — whose properties include Gram & Dun and Louie’s Wine Dive — plan to “honor its traditions” (like re-opening on Mondays) while bringing new operational and marketing resources to the local spot. A local ice skating rink has been named the fifth best in the nation, according to USA Today’s latest poll. The Crown Center Ice Terrace, a downtown staple for over 50 years, earned its spot thanks to its on-site concessions and unlimited skate times. Development
Edged, a sustainable data center worth $143 million, is now open in the Northland. The state-of-the-art facility, built to provide 26 megawatts towards growing digital infrastructure, uses a waterless cooling system expected to save ~95 million gallons annually. (Startland News)
