Saturday, Sept. 7
  • Oktoberfest | Saturday, Sept. 7 | 12-6 p.m. | KC Pumpkin Patch | $15 | Adults 21+ only — imbibe on hard ciders, beers, themed drinks, and play nostalgic games.
  • Prairie Village Jazz Festival | Saturday, Sept. 7 | 3 p.m. | Harmon Park | Free entry | It’s the 14th annual celebration of that smooth sound, complete with live performances, food trucks, and family fun.

  • Giddy up, Lee’s Summit — Cowboy Kitchen is coming. Located at 1 SE 4th St., the smash burger hole-in-the-wall bar anticipates a Wednesday, Oct. 2 opening. Alongside its classic American menu, the restaurant will have live country bands regularly. Follow its Instagram for updates.

  • Applications are open for the second annual Westport Christmas Market. Happening Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the juried show is accepting local makers now through Monday, Oct. 14. The fee to apply is $25 and 10’x10' booths are $125.
