Your KC fun fact of the day: The KC strip steak (or the “New York Strip” but bone-in) is said to be invented by the West Bottoms restaurant Golden Ox. The joint is still mooing, meaning folks can taste history at the evening chophouse or grab daytime grub at The Ox Cafe & Bakery.
