Small Business Saturday is coming up on Saturday, Nov. 25. What started as an American Express campaign in 2010 to inspire consumers to shop locally has become an annual holiday that’s celebrated nationally.

We asked you to tell us which local small businesses you love shopping with + any deals you’re excited for, and (as usual) you didn’t disappoint. Plus, we included some of the local deals and shops we love.
  • Charmaine | Redux Society, 215 Southwest Blvd., Kansas City, MO | Stop by for exclusive products like limited edition cloth-bound games and combat-grade lightsabers. There will also be 50% off select products + several local vendors pop-ups
  • Madison | Untamed Supply, 1501 W. 12th St., Kansas City, MO | This local candle company found at 12th Street Post will have buy one get one half off of all its products, plus discounted “ready to wrap” pre-boxed gifts.
  • You all love shopping small. Check out where else you said you’ll be shopping on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Local Favorites

  • Sandlot Goods | Fandom doesn’t stop at apparel — check out the KC Current coaster set, KU yardball, “Ope” pennant, and tons of Heartland merch.
  • Fangirl Clothing | Rep the home team with Chiefs crews and hoodies. Styles range from cropped, to classic, to vintage.
  • MADE MOBB | KC’s premier streetwear brand sells snapbacks, truckers, dad hats, and son hats (like kid-sized dad hats) in over a dozen styles.
  • Thou Mayest | Brew a sustainably-sourced cup of this roaster’s signature coffee, or try out the seasonal release while it lasts.
