No matter what side of the river you’re on, it’s always a good day to be a Kansas Citian. This week though, it’s KCK all the way.

Downtown Kansas City, KS just earned itself a spot on the Register of Historic Kansas Places , a designation that carries more than just bragging rights.

New tax credits for the 117 buildings/sites within the commercial district means a possible revitalization of its urban core.

But the good news doesn’t stop there. KCK is now awaiting consideration from the National Parks Service for it’s National Register of Historic Places. A federal designation means even more of our favorite thing... beautiful, beautiful tax credits. Ahhh.
