• Midland Drive is getting a makeover. Shawnee City Council voted to allocate $4 million toward making the area safer. The project is currently in the design phase with talks of adding bike lanes + sidewalks to both sides. A total of ~$8.5 million is needed to complete it. (Johnson County Post)
