Messner Bee Farm is re-opening its hive on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 8301 Westridge Rd., Raytown, MO.
The urban farm has been a KC staple for years, but has kept its brick-and-mortar shuttered since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It feels like a new exciting chapter and visiting an old dear friend at the same time,” co-founder Rachel Messner said. “We’ve added many more products and had so many experiences.”
The sticky, sweet celebration will feature giveaways, live music by Discord and Rhyme + Whiskey Hill, Sugar Skull taco truck, Novella coffee cart, and sweets by Whoopsie Daisy, alongside the farm’s own handmade goods.
Can’t make it but need a fix for all your honey needs? Bee sure to stop by the store Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also find them online or at other locations.
Today’s news notes and Messner Bee Farm story are brought to you by our newest editor Madison. Official introductions incoming — but please give her a warm welcome.
