Cauldron Collective and Turnsol Books & Coffee have teamed up to bring something new to the KC Metro: a worker-owned bookstore cafe.

The new spot will be located at 1664 Broadway Blvd., KCMO.

❓ About the two businesses

Cauldron Collective is a worker-owned pop-up food concept. It started when a group of service workers decided to redesign the restaurant model.

Turnsol Books & Coffee began as an independent publisher. Former employees of a local book + record shop transformed it into a bookstore centering on good books and community.

🔍 What to expect

Here’s what you can expect at the new bookstore cafe:
  • Eclectic books
  • Coffee and vegan food
  • Concerts
  • Art nights
  • Pop-ups
  • Readings
