  • Brown Suga*, an Olathe-based cookie concept, is officially open for business. The spot — at 1066 W. Sante Fe St. — bakes cookies in flavors like cookies and cream and lemon sprinkle.

  • KC Mac N’ Co. is getting new digs. The mac and cheese concept is reopening for business in Town Pavilion — at 1111 Petticoat Lane, KCMO. The grand opening is Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. 10 of the first 100 customers will win a free mac entree every week through 2023.

  • Watch me crank it, watch me roll. Hip-hop and rap artist Soulja Boy is coming to The Truman on Sunday, Aug. 20. Tickets are on sale now starting at $30.
