ICYMI — Yesterday, we learned the schedule for the 2026 FIFA World Cup for which Kansas City will serve as one of the host cities. Here is the highlight reel.

When will it start and end?

The opening game will be played at Estadio Azteca on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The final match take place at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Kansas City matches

Kansas City will host four group stage matches:

  • Tuesday, June 16, 2026
  • Saturday, June 20, 2026
  • Thursday, June 25, 2026
  • Saturday, June 27, 2026

A Round of 32 match will be played on Friday, July 3, 2026 and a quarterfinal match will be hosted by KC on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
