Tickets are on sale now for the 19th annual KC Fringe Festival, a 16-day arts and culture celebration taking place across venues from West Bottoms to Brookside. The uncensored, unjuried festival will host 54 productions, 35 visual artists, and six films.

At KC Fringe Festival, you’re sure to experience the unexpected — but don’t let the event itself catch you off guard. Here’s how to participate, what to know, and where to discover your new favorite artist.

Grab your Fringe Button

You need two ingredients to start your journey: a Fringe Button, and individual show tickets.

Fringe Buttons are $5 at any festival venue. With your one-time purchase, you’ll get access to after parties, perks at participating local businesses, and most importantly, event admission.

Present your button to purchase tickets to any Fringe show. Each live event costs $12 for adults and $7 for children ages 3-12.

Plan your itinerary

Exhibitions and performances kick off on Friday, July 14 and continue through Sunday, July 30.

The festival will take place across twelve venues, from The Arts Asylum to The Black Box. There’s a 30-minute break between each show, so plan for a rideshare if your next event is across town.

Fringe 411, located in The Bird Comedy Theater, is your place for tickets, buttons, programs, maps, merchandise, and show information.
