The Big 12 basketball tournament is back in Kansas City (for the 22nd time), and while the hoops inside are the reason for the season, the events happening in and around KC have earned a spot on the roster too.

Jason Sudeikis
Not only did Sudeikis host in October 2021; he was a cast member on the show from 2005 to 2013. He is now starring in “Ted Lasso,” which is loosely based on his basketball coach from Shawnee Mission West High.
Gardner was voted “Most likely to be a cast member of Saturday Night Live” by her senior class after growing up in KCMO — she is now on her fifth season as a cast member.
