Friday the 13th tattoo events in Kansas City

Friday the 13th — a superstitious day for some, but Black Friday for tattoo enthusiasts. Getting inked on Friday the 13th is a longstanding tradition in the tattoo community. Basically, shops will offer an array of flash tattoos (pre-drawn artwork) for a discounted price — some shops offering the ink as low as $13.
Not every shop participates in the holiday, but we found a handful that are gearing up for the big day. Pro tip: get to the shop early. Lines tend to form early + the temperatures might be less than pleasurable, so plan accordingly.
Editor’s pick: As a tattoo enthusiast myself, Friday the 13th is one of my favorite days of the year. I will definitely be popping in one of these shops to add some new artwork to my canvas.
Fun fact: this will be my fifth Friday the 13th flash piece — my favorite is a band-aid with “13" on my knee that I got back in 2021.
